Mallory Kenny is the new marketing and community outreach intern for The Andrew Wade Friendship Foundation. She grew up in Dallas, TX and went to Bishop Lynch High School. She was a tennis player for most of her life and knew she wanted to continue playing in college. California Lutheran University started to recruit her and when she visited she felt like Southern California is where she was meant to be! Mallory is now a senior at CLU majoring in Political Science and Marketing Communication. She enjoys coming up with creative solutions, learning how policies affect communities, and researching the impacts of mental illness.
Physical and mental health are her two passions that she wishes to advocate for and to continue learning about. During the week besides being a student, she is a yoga teacher. She has learned how important is to take care of your body; physically, mentally, and spiritually. Mallory is very excited to learn more about mental health and to be a voice for young adults with mental illness. She hopes to gain from this experience a deeper knowledge of mental illness, leadership, and marketing skills.
