CREATING A KINDER AND SAFER WORLD FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS, AND FOR THOSE WHO LOVE THEM
Lisa Wade Devine
Lisa Wade Devine, M.S., M.Div., currently works at The Abundant Table, a faith based non-profit organic farm in Camarillo, CA. She is deeply committed to the intersections of health/wellness,spirituality and social & environmental justice and feels incredibly fortunate to be able to work for an organization that is committed to exploring all of these within its mission, programming and service to the community. She graduated from Occidental College with a degree in English and Comparative Literary Studies and went on to do graduate work in Holistic Nutrition and most recently, theology and inter-religious studies during her time in seminary.
Lisa is also a writer and photographer and draws inspiration from her life experience and the beauty of the natural world. She and her partner, Mike Devine, live in Ventura county with their two school-age children and recently-adopted dog. Lisa loves spending time with her family and enjoys traveling and exploring; anything having to do with the Pacifc Ocean; cooking adventures; and building opportunities for connection and healing in the communities she serves.
Finally, as Andrew Wade’s (Andy’s) adoring older sister and only sibling, Lisa strives to carry on his legacy of compassion and kindness every single day.
