Learn MoreThe Andrew Wade Friendship Foundation exists to ensure that young people with mental illness have the support and resources they need to recover from episodes of illness and to live full and productive lives. In collaboration with other organizations, we:
1) Sponsor Friendship Festivals on college campuses and in communities to create awareness among young adults about building positive mental health, recognizing the signs of a possible mental illness and how to effectively help oneself, a friend, or a loved one to obtain medical assistance during a mental health crisis.
2) Operate an annual Campaign for Kindness to foster a safer, more compassionate world.
3) Support innovative programs for young adult recovery from mental illness, especially those that integrate nature-based therapies.
